Rogue Idea

Well after getting my new HP laptop I have been looking for spare parts for my old zombie laptop. At first I was thinking of getting out the little hard drive and using it by itself but now I think I might go get a new one and put it in. The next thing I need is the power connector that is messed up so that the laptop can get some power. Then I’m also going to look for some laptop ac adapters, hopefully I will get a better one this time and also a smaller one too since the old HP ones are really big.  Last time I bought a new adapter but the end is already rusting because of the power issue I think.  But I pretty much just need those three extra laptop parts to set it up again.  I’m sort of looking for a place that will put the power connector in too for me since I can’t and don’t know how to do that myself.

After I fix it, it’ll most likely become the family laptop that anyone can take around and use with the wireless internet connection.  I would like to have it back but it would be better for my parents to use it around the house and plus Frank is going to send me his old computer soon anyways that I can use as a desktop. 

So finally spring break is here.  well…it will be in a few hours.  Right now i should be studying for my animal behavior test but i think i will do fine or at least a lot better this time since i know the material much better.  afterward i will probably just bum around for a little while before going out to dinner with my cousins.  hopefully i will get a bunch of stuff done this spring break that i’ve been putting off.  well i thought i felt like blogging but i dont.  will try again next time.

The date above is when I ordered that game.  That was a few months after I bought my Wii obviously and so today I get on to check my email and it says “Order Shipped Notification” on a subject title.  of course, almost a whole year later I’m like wtf I didn’t order anything.  So I go and see and FINALLY that game is released.  I remember when I first ordered it, it was supposed to come out in June or July.  Then it just kept being pushed back and back and back until finaly now they are releasing it!  So I will get a new game soon and I am kind of excited.  Except it says two day shipping but I don’t think they will deliver tomorrow since it is Sunday?  So I will probably get it on Monday.  Hopefully it is a fun game or else I will be pretty pissed since they made everyone wait so long.

So this past week has been pretty busy and I will be pretty busy this coming week too, the week before Spring break.  Unfortunately I found out last night my friend who is in town for spring break is having her’s this week instead of next week so yeah that sucks but I will still hang out with her Sunday I think.  At least there is only 1 more week before my spring break though so I will have some time to slow down and get some stuff done.  Anyways I have a lot of crap to do today so I better get going.  I’ve been trying to increase my productivity but….it’s not going very well. lol.

i’m tired.  and today looks like its going to be nice today so good thing we are out playing tennis later. yesterday i was sort of ina ticked mood cause i woke up late then i didn’t have my paper printed out and ready so i was a bit stressed.  i go to tennis and damnit my partner is playing with someone else cause i was there like 5 minutes late, then i was stuck playin with this other asian girl that thought we were trying to hit home runs instead of just across the court.   after an hour of that crazyness he let us go really early so that was good, i think he was just trying to return the tests though so tomorrow ill try to be there on time so i can play with my regular group again.  after that i had some time so i went to print out my report, which didnt have a proofreader that is worth 5 points.  its ilke in middle school where they require you to have one already or something.  i hate that music class.  i dropped off my crap in there and then went to my car to go get my keyboard and recorder that we didnt even use and then when i got back they had pop quiz and i missed the first quetsion so i was ticked again.  then we had to go in a circle and somehow i got really confused and she was saying sometihng like ‘when we do this, you do what youre gonna do…’ and i just flat out said ‘…whatt?’ like i was stoned or something, and shes like ‘…youre gonna play it’. =|  then everyone laughed.  damnit.  i was so glad when i got outta that class.  iw as planning to meet linda at the library afterward but then i was in a shitty mood and plus i realized i forgot all my damn books i wanted to read anyways so i just flew home (and by flew i mean fly down the high way at like 90-95 yesterday, probably not the safest since im driving a jeep… lol).  ugh lets just hope today doesnt suck ass.  this is probably the worst semester i’ve had EVER.

This is the 6th week of school ( I think) and we have had 5 homework assignments in my physical chemistry class.  I have not turned any one of them in, therefore getting myself 4 zeros so far, and 1 more after today.  Why?  Because apparently I can’t turn in my homework.  This class is at 8:30am Tuesday and Thursdays and there is homework due every Tuesday morning.  The homework is not due during class, or at the beginning of class, it is due BEFORE 8:30.  Not even AT 8:30.  BEFORE.  So I’m thinking…it is okay because I can get there early I’ve always had 8:30 classes.  Well for some reason or another I cannot get to the damn class on time ANY of the past Tuesdays – so I’ve been getting zeros because they don’t take any late work.  First two times I leave at around 8 or a little before 8 am to get to school.  I figured that a lot of times I leave at 8 and the morning traffic is over and I’m normally there on time for an 8:30 class.  Apparently there must be like a thousand other people who figured out the same thing or a thousand other people being regularly late on Tuesday mornings now because that plan doesn’t work anymore (I figured that out after receiving my first two zeros).  The third time I’m like….damnit I’m going to leave early.  So I leave at 7 am, and what the fuck….accidents and crazy rain and somehow I drove OVER 90 minutes in a gigantic traffic jam and I get there late – AGAIN.  By this point I’m like ‘this sucks…oh well’.  So the fourth time, last week I went to school early at 7:30, I figured that maybe I was just too early and plus some bad luck.  I will never leave at 7;30 again because I had to get through 3 school zones and then more crazy ass traffic from the people trying to get to their 8 a.m. jobs at the last minute – making ME LATE AGAIN.  So last week I was like….WHAT THE FUCK.  And then comes today.  I woke up at 5:30 am and I left at 6:00 am.  Thats 2 and a half hours earlier than when my class starts.  I’m pissed now because there was an accident (of course there was a fucking accident – I left early!) and I ended up spending one hour getting to the damned school and I got here at 7 am.  So I think..finally.  I will not receive a zero.

Since I’m an hour early I went to the library (that is where I am now) to use their computers and print some stuff.  But guess what?  I opened my backpack and found out I forgot my homework.  So now I will be there and feel like a total idiot because I forgot my crazy homework.   Our first test is this Thursday and I will be out of my house at like 5:30 to fucking be here.  I don’t understand how for the past 3 years of college I’ve never had this bad of a traffic problem and now its like all the sudden it’s like I either leave late to arrive late or leave early to sit in traffic for an insane amount of time only to either arrive late again or do something fucking stupid like forget my homework.  FUCK THIS CLASS.  ! =(

well my laptop finally died, it wouldnt start windows at all and i got a new one. besides that i have just been going to school, playing tennis and sleeping a lot. i am trying to get back into the habit of waking up early so i can get more stuff done during the day but its so hard to wake up for some reason. also i am now completely broke and need to find a job. lol.

Well yesterday we went to the temple, this new one wayyyyy far ass in the north west area of houston.  We left at like 9:30 and didn’t come home till like 8 pm.  I was so tired from being there.  There was some dragon dances there but i will have to post those pictures and videos i took later cause i am at the library right now.  anyways i watched for like 2 hours before i realized how tired my arm was from recording and taking pictures. then i wasted time and walked around for another 2 hours even though the place isnt even fully built yet and theres mud all over the ground from the rain.  We had to wait for my mom to finish watching cause she wanted to watch don ho who is like this really famous vietnamese singer.  after that we went to buy a couple of things and then met my uncle to eat dinner since they just came here from france for new years this week.  Ate at a korean restaurant that had terrible terrible service which ticked me off.  then came home.

I was so tired but then i call frankie and gordon and they said giants were winning so i decided to watch the end of the superbowl game.  I have only watched about 15 minutes of football in this ‘season’.  5 minutes from when giants play packers, and 10 minutes last night.  last time gordon said he was rooting for green bay, so to spite him i said i wanted giants to win.  i watched the end of the game and they really did win! hehehe so he was ticked.  then he said he wanted patriots to win and frank said it too for the superbowl, so to spite them again i said i wanted giants to win.  and HAH!  holy crap last night was so intense.  when they scored the final touchdown, i literally heard people yelling from outside (super bowl party in the house across from  mine) for 10 straight minutes!  pretty much for the last two weeks anytime i heard about superbowl everyone was saying giants were gonna lose for sure.  but somehow i still believed theyd win, lol.  even crazier than the fact that i believed them even though i dont know anything about either team is that they actually did!   honestly i believe theywon it cause they wanted it more than the patriots.  apparently patriots have been killing off teams and winning everything on a streak, plus with all this noise they probably thought they already had the trophy before the game even started.   when i saw the giants win against green bay they were so excited and happy, i dont think they were planning on going to superbowl. clearly they would want it way more than patriots who probably thought they *already* had it.   i watched some recordings of the game and it they were really  working harder than the other team.  and the best part is – frankie and gordon were ticked at me so bad after the game, lol .  they said i jinxed it but they are just upset cause their team lost!  i don’t feel sorry for the other team at all though cause afterward i saw a clip on youtube about that patriots quarterback literally laughing/scoffing at someone saying they predicted that they were only going to score 17 points.  yeah, i bet he wish it was true now that they scored 17 points.  what an arrogant asshole.  oh damnit i gotta go now.  pics later =)

well i was on facebook lately and i dont have a lot of those applications added but today i tried to take this ‘what accent do you have’ quiz and i notice that the ads have button images on them that are links, that look like the facebook buttons for applications and everything else.  some of them even just say ‘continue’.  so like me, i was adding an application, there was a small ‘continue’ button inside the box and then a slightly bigger one underneath it that was part of the ad.  tricky!

yesterday morning i brought baby arisu to the doctor.  turns out she has some bacteria in her system so they gave her some antibiotics and some liquid medicine to help with the diarrhea, it worked instantly and last nigiht she slept all night, which means i got to sleep all night, thank god!  problem is arisu will NOT take her medicine without struggling.  they gave mea little syringe thing (no needle, just a flat cut tip to squirt the liquid out) to administer the liquid. i can stick it in her mouth and shoot it in but the antiobiotic is this huge pill (the size of those big orb weavers i used to torture in the backyard ).  well she wont eat anything or drink anything or touch anything tht has touched one of those pills.  she can smell it and avoids it at all costs. i tried to put it in the back of her throat but she snapped at me and bit my hand last night.  AND even though it was wayyyy back there, she somehow spit it back out.

i’ve tried a couple of treats and peanut butter, cheeses, etc.  she just eats everything around it and spits the pill out.  and she doesnt even like peanut butter so that didnt help at all.  this morning i had to hold her and use the little squirt thing to mix the pill with water and squirt it in.  she hates the taste but its for her own good even though i hate forcing her.  i wish i could give her a treat afterward but theres not really much to give her since shes gotta eat really plain foods.  ahh its raining like crazy again now. i’m so sick of this weather!  well, i better do my laundry now before everyone else gets home and tries to do theirs.

after today i will finally have gotten all my books for my classes.  i’m waiting at the library right now for my friend so i can get his own music book from him and also his little keyboard (for my music for children class).   Still missing a recorder for that class though, no idea where to get it from since classmates said in class today that they haven’t been able to find a place that sells them.  I will probably try to stop by the mall today and see if they have any in target since i will  be going to petsmart to buy arisu her food.  Thankfully i saved 70 dollars today by buying from my friend his old stuff, and also another 50 from my b&n gift card to get my anthropology book.  So now that i have all my texts i guess i will be doing a crap load of reading from now on.  today was the last day that i am going to go out to eat with my friends cause i have decided i spend way too much and will not spend anymore.  i only went today cause it was one of their birthdays though.  I hope i get to sleep tonight since i havent slept much in the past 2 days cause of arisu.  Last night she threwup a little (better than the night before she threwup multiple times and a LOT each time), and she needed to go potty like 3 times.  I’m hoping that upping her puppy food back to a higher level will help her adjust more easily.  I also hope shes doing okay today and will be okay tonight so that i can sleep.  at least tomorrow i dont have to be here till 10 am so i have a little time in the morning to spend with her and make sure shes okay.  Tomorrow i am finalllleeeee getting my organic stuff back from my friends.

i know im really ‘annoyed’ sometimes by others using my books cause they always mess them up.  but i guess sometimes i just cant help but to say yes cause they always help me out too with things in class.  for the most part i have only been lending books that were already in a not so great shape or books that i dont care too much about.   since the first week i have been getting endless text messages about old exams and text books.  i’m not gonna lie i benefit quite a bit from being in this ‘network’ of sharing with my friends, but sometimes i’m a bit overwhelmed with everyone asking me for stuff all at once.  Okay well i’m going to read and then hopefully get out of here soon so i can go buy arisu’s food and get some sleep.  maybe if i go to sleep early,  i will get to sleep some before she wakes up with a tummy ache =(

well, lately my laptop has been … ‘progressing’ with its ‘disease’.  i have no idea when or if my laptop will turn on or off.  It also lies to me about the battery percentage and dies when it gets close to 100%.  i really wnt to fix it but frankie already told me hed get me a new computer so im thinking ill just wait for that, and fix the laptop later when i have a little more money or by then i can get a new one.  i just need something that will stay on at this point because i cant get anything done when its dying every 5 minutes or i have to keep one hand on the power cord to plug it in over and over again.

anyways its almost end of january but i have made four HUGE goals for this year, in hopes that i can make them all.  however, itll take a lot of effort and work to get them all completed.  so hopefully i will have some drive to get things done this time and not just forget about it or not wanna do it anymore (which is ‘code phrase’ for being a ‘quitter’).

well i guess i will make this a short post and go get ready for tomorrow. gotta get up early and i might have to wake up in the middle of the night again for arisu.  im currently switching her to adult food and i guess i did a step too fast, she threw up a lot last night and went to potty outside almost every two hours 3, 5, and 7 AM.  so im extremely tired from being up all day without that sleep.  she was doing much better throughout the day though so im sure shes fine but i will switch the foods more slowly ( i started at 75% puppy, 25% new adult food) with 10% new adult food and 90% old puppy food.  i gotta go to petsmart to get the food though tomorrow since for some crazy reason they had like…NOTHING inthe store today.  ahh well okay i am going to go now.
