buying spot lights and flashlights
A while ago I was pretty riled up when my door was egged twice in a row. I was thinking of putting all these crazy security things around my house like cameras and lights. Well I found a place that sells a spotlight but unfortunately these are probably way too big to use practically around my house, but I’m making a note of it anyways for reference. This website sells all different types of spotlights and flashlights that you can use for working or security or any reason. They also have boat lights for sale there which would be a good idea if you go out at night or anytime its dark. I remember we were on a speed boat with my family once and it started to get pretty dark out there and we had some problems finding out way back. This was when I was little though and we didn’t have GPS or a spot light either. You can also buy a police light set from the website, including other police light equipment like those long flashlights that have pepper spray in them too.
This reminds me too I need a new flashlight for Arisu. I bought her one of those led flashlights and somehow it died because I think I dropped it too many times. I should probably get a new one sometime soon since it only works half the time now and I have to hit it a little to get it going.

Well I am officially 22 today and I guess I had a pretty good day. I just stayed home and watched tv and did whatever all day. I guess it’s weird to think I’m already 22. I guess the main feeling I’m having is sort of depressing. Being an adult I feel like I should’ve accomplished ’something’ by now but I haven’t accomplished anything at all yet. I guess I just feel some pressure and some reality check moments where I gotta figure out what I’m supposed to do and how I’m going to make a living by now but I still haven’t yet. I know I’m still studying and preparing for med school but its not a sure thing so it makes me feel like I don’t really have a plan since I don’t have any back up.
Well on a ligther note the past weekend I had my birthday dinner with Linda at this Italian restaurant. Everything was going pretty well until the end where we came up short of money to pay and it was a huge disaster. After we finally left we went to dave and busters and stayed until they closed though so I guess I still had a lot of fun and it was nice seeing all my friends again all together.
I still had a pretty bad stomach ache this morning so I finally made an appointment for the doctor’s tomorrow. Apparently being a new patient means they need a lot of time or something cause no one would see me today just cause I’m new. So I will have to go in tomorrow finally. Yesterday Arisu went to the doctor for her bumps and itchyness. I went with my friend Michael and he brought me to the humane society to go tot he vet there. the place was completely PACKED. I have never seen that many people at the vet before. The place opened at 10 and we got there at 10:30 and it was a 2 hour wait and the entire place was full already. We had to go there, sign in, then go back to his house for an hour before going back. Good thing Arisu could play with his dog though so when we went back she was already tired from playing and wasn’t trying to get at all the other dogs or barking a lot. So we found out that Arisu has a special dog skin allergy. They gave her a shot to stop the swelling/inflammation/itchyness and then also some medicine to help it heal. Then some dog food too that is special for sensitive skin. All together the bill was 70 dollars so i was SUPER happy because at the regular vet place it would be at least 150 for all that. It’d be like 45 for regular exam (20 there at the humane society), then they charge me like another 30 for ‘diagnosing’ too like theyll probably take a test or something, then they would charge me at least 30+ for each the dog food bag and the shot and medicine. So from now on I’m going to bring Arisu to this new place and have her treated without being all crazily ripped off. They also sell the proplan dog food for puppy that Arisu ate as a puppy too there for cheaper than at the store. The place is a little far, but its worth the drive and saved me a lot of money. Today I got her to take her medicine finally, I tried to last night but she wouldn’t so today I had to get her some baby food to feed with it.
Well Frankie is out tonight at this concert so I don’t really have anything to do tonight, I’m gonna go read a little bit and watch some tv. I was going to take some p ics of the gifts I got but they were mostly shirts and gift cards. I did take a lts of pictures of the tennis bag i got though:

Sell your settlements for fast cash
So I ran across this website where this company is a buyer of structured settlements. This basically means that when you get a form of long term payments from something like a lawsuit or lottery winnings you can sell these payments for the total amount and get the money now instead of in small payments. You can get cash for annuities too and can choose to sell the total amount or just part of it to get cash right faster (probably still takes a few weeks to do all the paperwork though).
I wonder if its better to get the money right away or later though since Frank mentioned that his grandmother had won the lottery before and is still getting payments every week so that’s a good amount of income for her. They said something like shes gotten over eight hundred thousand so far or something. Of course back then when she won the lottery this was an insane amount of money already. I guess the cash for settlement option would be good in case of emergencies or if you want to get the money out to invest in something else immediately, plus they give you quotes so you’ll know how much it will cost you and how much you can get before you do it.
No commentsmcat count down - II
well it’s time to prepare for the mcat again except this time i have nothing that will soak up any extra time (last last year i had physics) . I have signed up for the september 13th mcat so that means i have exactly 3 months from today to prepare for it. i’m going to cut down my computer/internet time a lot from now on, so hopefully i can stand it, lol. i’ll probably still get online of course but only at night when im done with all my stuff i wanna do. sooo that means today while im at home i’m going to make an outline of what i need to get done everyday , which will be a lot . i probably wont be doing much else during all this except playing tennis and working out.
my parents just got back from new york last night so unfortunately i didnt have a few more alone days but i guess its okay. i’m going offline now to get some stuff done and play with arisu =)
No commentsMy Trip to Frankie
Last month I spent 10 days with Frankie in Maryland for my little vacation. We spent the first day just laying around and doing nothing then the next day we went out to the mall a little and walked around. We had to spend a few hours at the wedding rehearsal which was basically just to decide who is going to walk down or up the aisle first and what they’re gonna do when they’re up there, etc. That took a few hours of standing around and what not then after that we just got some pizza and went home to do whatever. Then the wedding pretty much took up the whole next day. It was okay but not very formal as I would like. There were actually people there in jeans and a wrinkled polo shirt. If someone showed up to my wedding like that I’d probably not let them in. Actually thats a good idea now that I think about it, I should have a person in the front checking people so they don’t come in and make me look bad.
For the next few days we mostly just stayed home and oh yeah Frank took me to a shooting place and I shot a gun a few times. i’ll post a picture of my target thing sometime
Then we also went shopping where I made Frank buy a bunch of nice new clothes. It seemed like he really liked the new clothes so I was happy plus he looked really good
Oh yeah we also went to the aquarium with his cousin and his cousin’s gf together. That was pretty fun except we ate at cheesecake factory and it was freezing cold outside the entire time. According to them I even had goosebumps on my neck (wearing a tank top). After the aquarium thing we just spent a few days sitting aruond at home and playing games.
Finally we went on a 3 day thing to ocean city beach and that was really nice but again it was freezing cold and super windy. we went on the board walk for a while and just walked around. I got some popcorn from fischers and fries from thrashers. frank was literally raving about these two places but honestly the popcorn and fries were good but they were nothing insane enough for me to specifically remember from a vacation. I’m thiking that its just the hype that makes people buy them. I mean its freakin 5 dollars for a tiny cup of fries thats probably less than 15 fries. the largest thing is a small bucket and its 9 dollars for fries. I don’t think I’ve ever spent that much money on french fries before. AND they didnt have any ketchup. when we went there on memorial day the line was so insanely long i was thinking there must be something about these fries. but on the other hand im like…how good can you make a stick of fried potato taste?? oh well they were still good, I just don’t think they are worth the price or the hype around them.
Our hotel was really nice and we had a jacuzzi in there which was really cool. I wish they would put more grip on the bottom though cause I kept slipping since I’m not big enough to put my feet on the other side. We went to play putt putt too. Theres a ton of mini golf places there that looked really cool and we played inside in this water theme one. Oh yeah and we went to this Assateague place to the beach too and saw some wild horses which were really cool.
kay well i’m tired so i’ll just cut this short. i would post more pictures but im too lazy to organize them and stuff so i think ill just leave them all on flickr and facebook.
