Rogue Idea

After starting my money making experiment blog, i first made about 1 dollar pretty quick. It’s only been a little while but for some reason i got a lot more clicks than usual for today(well, anything more than 1 click is a lot to me, lol). Anyways so my total went from 1 dollar to over 5 dollars!!! That means I have been upgraded to eating a full meal instead of a dollar menu item! =) As you can see, at this rate, i will have 100 dollars in exactly 20 times 2 weeks, thats 40 weeks, lmao. But of course, I hope this rate will continue to increase =)

I was pretty surprised by that because google analytics didn’t really show that many hits for yesterday, then I also realized that the number that is the last number they show on the front page graph is the total for YESTERDAY. So i’ve been reading it all wrong this whole time. I went back to statcounter.com to sign up my other blog with my account there (and re-set up this one since i changed themes and i gotta put that code back in). I like statcounter information a lot better, but i like google analytics because its prettier - so I will use both lol.

Other stuff i’ve done so far is over at sitepoint i found a list of ‘widgets’ (who the hell made up that ugly word?) to install for wordpress. So i went ahead and picked out a few that I wanted and installed them there. I got this tags thing which i wanted, that lets you put ‘tags’ on posts so people can find them easier, it also generates some sort of meta description for you for each post. then i also got this social widget thats for book marking sites and i put a few (even though theres like 50 of them available) up that will show up underneath each post. I also signed up that blog with feedburner on my feed burner account that has this blog in it too. One more widget/thing that i want is one that will let me show ‘related’ posts underneath each post - i haven’t been able to find one thats what i want yet so i’ll have to search around later and see. Oh yeah and i’m trying to decide whether or not i wanna put my picture on the blog? I just don’t know where i’d put it though in the theme layout (and i dont really have time to make my own theme right now).

Besides that little update, i dont have much time to talk today since i have an exam tomorrow =( . so i’m going to study now, i will probably update again later this week

well i can’t decide what to make my other blog about. i have a couple of ideas, but none that i can keep up/focus on too well. for now i’m just doing random posts on whatever i feel like blogging about on there just so that it doesnt look inactive. another thing is, should i have a picture for each blog? a lot of blogs have a little picture to go with each post - i think i’d like the look of that, but i’d have to fix the template so it doesnt mess up the ad block in the single pages. hm ill have to plan more and think about what i want to do. i was also thinking about maybe making like video posts or something? but i dont know if that would take a lot more effort/time. i dont know i’ll have to look into it and see what i want.

well today i woke up late (again), and so now i’m gonna try to finish up some physics and then work on mcat stuff for the rest of the day. my goal is to go through all of my mcat books i have now so that next week i can get the other ones i saw at b&n to use those and go through them too. (and partially, i want them because i want some new books, hehe ). i’m a little bit sad today because i cant find my library list, it wasa list of libraries around here with their hours and now i have to make a new one =( okay thats all for now

well this morning i get online to check my email and the little email that says ‘your account balance has change..’ comes. i go to check and i’ll be paying another one thousand more this semester than for the last semester even though its the same number of credit hours. so yeah i’ll probably be dead broke for a while. thres just too many fees. the actual TUITION, like paying for the actual class is only like 2400. but the rest of the fees pretty much doubles that amount on my total bill. theres all sorts of crazy fees like for biochemistry, i have like a biochemistry college fee, a biochemistry lab fee, a biochemistry lab equipment fee, and all sorts of crazy shit its like they make up random names and then add ‘fee’ to it and just slap it on your bill. so first you pay to just ENROLL in the class, then you pay money so they can get equipment for that class, then you pay money so your teacher can have access to technology stuff which sometimes they don’t even use, then you pay to use the equipment that they charged you for, then you pay another fee as kind of an insurance thing for them, incase you break what you paid for they can use it to buy replacements. I CANT PAY ANYMORE!

okay so i have a plan outline for my money maker test site =) problem is its not gonna get started till mid september due to the same various things that i always come on here to rant about (physics and mcat study time). since i have to study so much lately its been non stop things to do. i sleep, go to class, do homework, write labs, mcat, then sleep and do it all over again. but anyways i did come up with some ideas and looked around today (since he let us out early and cancelled our lab for today) on some stuff that i wanted to find out so i could figure out what to do with that blog and i have some ideas that i’m gonna test to see if they work =). if i do make any more posts on there it will probably still be random topics just to see what happens and what works and what doesn’t. of course i’m also thinking about if i should just decide stuff and THEN get started all at once? or like..do stuff as i go? i sort of want to try to do things as i go but i cant really do that right now with everything else going on. but the thing is, i already started the damn blog, lol. so it feels like i’m abandoning it or something. … oh well. itll just have to wait till september when i can put everything together.

i think ill get my test back tomorrow, today he said that things werent looking so great since most people were making 50’s. hopefully i made higher than 50 lol. alright well i’m off to bed now , im going to bed early tonight. okay thats all for now.

yay!! thats the highest EVER for this site. normally its like 90% direct (which, would be me checking my own blog, lmao). mostly people have been finding my orange dream machine recipe and also lately i’ve had a few find my site through searching for ‘f*c* my cousin’ …yeah the second one is pretty random. anyways so that makes me happy. before i was talking about signing up for PPP to make some extra money online..well thats not working out very well. sooooo i’m making up a new plan but i’m not gonna use this blog for it, i’m using another one that i set up specifically so i can do it all on there and keep my own little place over here. Haven’t had time to really do much else besides physics problems lately so i’ll have to update more about this probably end of this coming week. and plus i need time to make a timeline and plan. most likely though, things wont be starting up till like september/october just because i will be working like twice the time on mcat now that i only have a month left and plus all this physics stuff everyday. once i get through this physics class and the mcat - i’ll be relieved of a a LOT of stress and time crunches. then i’ll have some time to breathe and do other things. and yes…i really will do it this time. okay break’s over, will update again later =)

not just a digital camera..well..i still call it a camera but i want a digital VIDEO camera so i can record stuff you know like one of those hand held things. so thats my goal for the end of this year is to get one of those (since i need some time to build up some money). but anyways i guess i gotta start looking around though so i can see whats out there and what i want because god knows it takes me a zillion years to make even the smallest decision! why do i need a digital video cam all the sudden? so i can record stuff at family events and when i go out to visit frank, and also so i can record all the little things my precious baby arisu does =) i already record her a little bit but i havent uploaded yet. theyre not very good quality though since its from my regular digital camera (which, is pretty old when you think about how fast technology is moving these days). anyways this is a mental note to myself and thats all. i couldn’t really sleep so i came on here to write this in case i forget about wanting it in the morning lol. and also, i left my laptop on and i hate that humming noise.

Well after looking around and learning WAY more than I expected about this whole money online/promoting websites thing (thanks to a whole bunch of googling and talking to John and Ed), I did end up finding a few interesting sites like this web conference place that helps you set up seminars and conferences online. Most of it is like web meetings for companies that need to talk to their people online but they have this little section for web conferencing and seminars at that link. (Actually they don’t call these things ‘seminars’ there, they call them ‘webinars’.)

They seem sort of new but they do have a phone number that they tell you to call so at least that is better than those companies that only do e-mail. And another good thing is that they apparently walk you through all the steps and help you get what is going on instead of just giving you an account with access to a bunch of stuff you might not know about. You might have to read about their different options on their home page but you have to scroll down to see them. It looks like the top of the page is all that’s there but then you go down and there are little descriptions of each thing they do with some explanations. Oh and in that little footer there’s info about a free webinar you can get – the offer is over now but hopefully they’ll do it again for new customers another time.

Anyways, not that I’m going to have a webinar anytime soon, but I thought I’d make a note to myself about it just in case (since I’d never seen anything like this before, I just thought people hired special people to make custom web conference products/programs for them.)

After a long time of going through many alarm clocks I decided that none where better at getting me OUT of my bed than the ones that actually ring bells like there’s no tomorrow. Well with the whole cd/radio alarms now not many people have or sell these clocks. I’ve been refusing to go to the sex store and buy myself the one that had a picture of weed on it and i didnt want to buy the one at target that had kermit the frog either so all this time i’ve been living without a good alarm clock. but today - i got mine finally! i ordered it online and it came in today through the nasty rain storm outside to my doorstep. its a super man one :

Yes, a super man alarm clock. I can’t really seem to find a good place to buy these types of alarm clocks and most of the ones made are for ’show’ for little kids so they usually have all sorts of decorations on them and what not. It was between this one and Betty Boop. I think i should’ve got betty boop but it’s too late now. Well now i am very happy cause i have my alarm clock =) there was one that i saw that was plain, but it was a ‘giant’ clock - so it was also for ’show’ but not because of any decoration, because it was unusually huge for an alarm clock. lol

well besides that little happening today, I had my second day of summer school physics. Today was a little better, I had no trouble staying awake even though i woke up literally 15 minutes before i got to class. The material was thankfully stuff that I had seen before but that I didn’t really learn well enough plus it was from way back in high school so yeah. Then we went to lab and i realize that these two guys i’m with probably have no clue what they’re doing and not only that but they work SLOWLY. I don’t like working slowly. all of my lab partners i’ve had in any lab were always with me when i wanted to get out as soon as i could but these two like to take their time. so yeah i’m gonna read ahead in the lab and get things done much faster tomorrow.

okay besides that i figured since i don’t have a job (and none of the bastards that i applied to has called me back, ) i found this payperpost.com thing and i’m going to try that to get some gas money at least. The problem is you have to have some sort of rating or what not to be accepted to take up their jobs there. so i have to have a google and alexa ranking. first of all…i’ve heard of this alexa thing but i have no idea what the hell it is. and secondly - i dont really wanna use THIS blog (this is my e-baby, lol) to do it because itd be like spamming my own blog you know? but then i dont know, i guess if i have to..then i have to. lol. anyways so yeah i’m deciding between using a newly set up blog that i made yesterday (when i found that site last night) compared to just putting them all on here. If i start with a new blog i guess i’d have to get a bunch of links coming to it to boost the ratings first though and i don’t really know how long that takes. i just checked this blog here and it says i have a google of 5 and alexa of 0 so i dont know if it would really help much if i linked to the new blog from this blog? well i’m guessing that since i hardly ever get hits here it might not even make much of a difference (except i might annoy myself). okay well..ill think about it later right now i’m going to eat and then do like a shit load of physics homework.

thats all i really have to say - is that this theme is green. and also that i’m dreading going to class tomorrow to sit for almost 5 hours and listen to a lecture about physics. ohhhhh well

I probably won’t be on much more after today because I just had my first day at summer school physics and apparently its going to be a lot of work. I’m hoping that my teacher is good though. THe one good thing is that he WANTS to teach, so thats always a plus because at least he has a chance of trying to teach it well instead of other teachers who throw up some powerpoints and then eat lunch while we figure it out ourselves. Besides that , i’m still working on improving my mcat score. I only have about a month left for that so these coming weeks are going to be pretty crazy i think. Okay thats all for now =)
