Rogue Idea

there’s a tiny little box on my screen right now that says ‘empty’ and it wont go away no matter what i do!Â? basicallyi turn on my laptop and then i try to connect online, but i did it too fast and theres nothing showin gup yet in the ‘connect’ folder that pops up, so theres just a small thing that says empty.Â? so then i click away…but then the (Empty) thing just stays there.Â? forever.Â? even later when i connect, the other stuff just pops over it.Â? but the problem is, the OTHER normal stuff thats NOT the menu pops UNDER it.Â? so while i’m doing other stuff i just hope that it will appear on the right side of the screen so i dont see the little (Empty) thing.Â? granted my computer is getting pretty old now. and it is slowish.Â? but this is really getting annoying; in fact i have no idea how i’ve lasted this long without already restarted this thing so that i dont have to see that anymore.

So i had my tests on thursday and friday andi dont think i did too well.Â? well i did better on the one from last night than the one on thurday, but still not a 100 so thats too bad.Â? so now that that is over i still have a lot to do because obviously the classes dont end after only a month or so.Â? but besides school stuff i think ill practice quite a bit this weekend since i havent been keeping up at a good pace for the past week cause of the tests.Â? i’ve still be sticking to exercising though so thats good even though i dont really see any changes on me yet but i guess it takes a while.Â? alright well i am going back to studying.

After every single powerpoint slide my genetics teacher would say that. “but at the end of the day…” and then she summarizes what shes already said ten times. not that its a bad thing, but it really does give me false hope that the ‘end of the day’ will come soon since the end of the day for me is also the end of that class. Well today wasnt really a long day but it did last a ‘normal amount of time’ i guess. I think i have been doing okay in most of my classes. but i will have my first test in genetics and organic chemistry this thursday and friday night coming up so ill see how i feel after those. what sucks is today my stupid classmates in genetics persuaded our professor to change the date of the last exam SIX DAYS earlier than scheduled just because they have an organic chemistry final near the day it was originally scheduled. so now, we have 6 days less to study for the 3rd exam, 6 days less to learn new material between the time of the 2nd exam and 3rd exam, and 6 days MORE between the 3rd exam and the final exam which means almost a whole week more time that could easily dilute the information that you’ve already learned right before the most important test (the final). what i really dont understand is that if these people at this point in the semester already think that they are going to need that much time studying for their organic chemistry final, then the smart thing to do is either get their act together right now, or drop the damn class. the stupid thing to do is to keep slacking off but think youll be okay because you’ve spaced out your exams at the end of the semester sothat you can cram and fail anyways. which is what they did. and in the process they screwed everyone else over who actually has their shit together. ugh…SO STUPID.

well moving on, i had my biochemistry test last thursday and got my results back today. i made an A but not a 100 so yeah there is a lot of work to do still. nothing else has been going on other than just studying and working on various things. the other day i found my old book holder back and i realized what a waste of my 5 dollars it was to even hope that it was going to work. lets take a look of a comparison the two book holders i have:

here is the one that i just recently found again. it costs 5 dollars, i can do the same thing by proppping my book up against a school box, you cant turn the pages cause theyre stuck, and the whole thing just sucks in general:

here is the one of hte many things that i love every day of my life; my REAL bookholder. it holds my book upright and you can change the angle between options, you can turn the pages and keep them open easily, the book and text are literally at eye level, and the best part is that it only cost me a little over 50 dollars. okay thats not the best part but for a 10x increase in price compared to the other one i got a 100x increase in my satisfaction! now, i wont start talking like an infommercial but i really do love this book holder and its the most AWESOME thing any one who has to read a lot of textbooks can get for themselves. it makes reading an exercise you do only with your eyes and brain (instead of the other one where you have to use your eyes, brain, neck, and back).

well its been a few weeks since school started and now i have a test today. so what am i doing online?Â? well this morning i woke up late (of course) and then had to sit in traffic while daydreaming about eating one of those twinkies.Â? so yeah i missed my first class which is organic and thats never good to do.Â? hopefully i will do good today and then i can go home and sleep and then wake up and do it all over again.Â? Â? I am at school now so yeah i can see how disgusting this site looks in IE.Â? maybe its jut cause of the resolution though because everything on this screen is ‘normal’ i guess but still way bigger than whenever i look at it on my screen on the laptop at home.Â?

not much else has been going, just been with chau and occasionally becky these days hanging out.Â? havent been too social except during labs though, i mean i guess when youre stuck in a place for 6 hours theres just no option but to talk to the people around you before you go insane (or pass out from people not putting the correct TOXIC wastes under the hood).Â? which yeah, this guy dumped toluene into a sinkÂ? behind me and iwas like OMG.Â? i already cant breathe very well in there and then you dump somethign like that into the SINK?!???Â? its like people cant follow the damn directions, AND the most annoying part is that the hood with the waste bottle was RIGHT NEXT TO HIM.Â?

okay this weekend i am planning to finish up my login system (yes, im STILL on that) but its just a few details and taking small things out (like all the ‘echo’ statements i use to check myself).Â? kay thats all for now i am going to history now so i can sit there and daydream.Â?

So today i decided randomly to bring my biochemistry book to school and then i put it in my backpack and the edges are now all messed up!!Â? :(Â? i almost made myself cry :(Â? Â? Â? tomorrow ill post pictures of my poor baby

Well today i went to the gym with Chau for like an hour and a half or so and played badminton.Â? won once and lost twice, so i owed her two laps and she only had one but we both just ran one together.Â? Then i had an hour before Linda to read my history book.Â? well its not my history book but its like a side reading for the class i guess, its called “A Fever in Salem - A New Interpretation of the new england Witch Trials”.Â? I haven’t gotten too far yet, so far its just been talking about a few of the cases around that time period and what the ‘fits’ and the people who were accused of being witches were like.Â? I read a little bit about it in the preface though and introduction and i think that its trying to say that the people who were having these ‘fits’ because of witches were actually just victims of encephalitis.Â? Well i am interested to see what the book wil be like later but i only got so far with having just an hour to read today.Â? So this weekend i will finish the book hopefully because i think that i have a quiz on it this coming thursday or so. anyways then linda came and we played badminton (i talked her into it) and then some tennis and also worked out on the machines a little.
Well i had pictures to post on here but i cant find my usb cord thing connectÂ? my camera on here.Â? so i guess i will post them next time and hopefully ill have some more too.Â? i am going to be doing a whole lotta homework this weekend so hopefully itll be aproductive few days coming up.Â? well i will post some more later.
